Abstract: Various gravity models are used to analyze and predict the spatial distribution of passenger traffic. Such models allow us to calculate the origin-destination matrix. In this paper, we use ticket sales data to calibrate gravity models for public transport in the Sverdlovsk Region. It was established that the intercity bus passenger traffic is well described by a gravity model with a power deterrence function.
