Реферат:
The article discusses the well-being of the individual in the crisis and post-crisis years on the example of a large industrial region. The Sverdlovsk region was chosen as the object of study, which is characterized by both industrial and innovative development, high intellectual potential, and significant influence on the development of other subjects that are part of the Ural Federal District. An analysis was made for the period from 2005-2020 with an emphasis on 2008-2010 (financial and economic crisis) and 2018-2020 (the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic). Associated threats are assessed through the impact on the individual's well-being index of the most significant indicators of economic security. The author's methods of express diagnostics are proposed in order to quickly assess the ongoing changes in socio-economic development. To take into account the delayed impact of macroeconomic factors, standard regression methods are combined with lag models.
