Abstract:
The integral index of export specialization of neo-industrial production of region is off ered, taking into account the production of high-tech goods and services. As goods was taken a group of machines, equipment and vehicles. The export intensity of its production and the production of high-tech services is taken into account; the gross production fi gure of region is also taken into account. The index assesses the orientation of the high-tech sector of regional economy to foreign market. The index was in pilot regime tested on an array of Russian regions, which made it possible to propose identifying groups of regions with a low, average and high index value.
