Abstract: The article examines the impact of digitalization on the development of human capital in the oil and gas industry, which is a relevant topic given the growing role of digital technologies in the modern economy. The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of digitalization on the development of human capital in the oil and gas industry. The main method used to examine the problem is meta-analysis. A close connection has been revealed between digitalization and the development of human capital in the oil and gas industry. It has been established that digitalization of companies has a positive effect on the development of human capital, encourages personnel to master the necessary digital skills reducing the likelihood of accidents and injuries to personnel, and contributes to the formation of a knowledge economy. Oil companies need to simultaneously intensify digitalization processes and measures for developing human capital.
