Abstract: In the research, to identify the general foundations of the functioning of social entrepreneurship and the sharing economy, as well as justifying the application of these models for sustainable development of society, based on a review of scientific sources on these topics, the areas of intersection of these concepts were shown. 40 organizations with English websites, including social entrepreneurs and companies using the shared economy model were analyzed. Based on semantic data analysis and the application of the latent Dirichlet distribution method and the Python programming language, the studied texts were grouped into five topics. Each of the topics included words that allow one to conclude environmental, social, and economic aspects in these organizations' activities. One of the topics also discovered an element of digitalization. So, the role of social entrepreneurs and companies using the sharing economy model for the sustainable development of society has been confirmed. The practical importance of the results obtained lies in using the results obtained in the development of directions for improving the institutional environment focused on society's sustainable development.
